Treatment That Holds the Whole Family

Medical Detox

Medical detox

3 to 7 days under 24-hour medical supervision at our 35-bed Avondale campus. Withdrawal management protocols use medication-assisted treatment when clinically indicated — buprenorphine and naltrexone for opioid dependence, structured benzodiazepine tapers for alcohol or sedative use, and continuous vitals monitoring throughout. Many residents transition directly into residential without leaving the building.

Substances We Treat

  • Alcohol
  • Opioids (prescription & illicit)
  • Heroin
  • Cocaine
  • MDMA / Ecstasy
  • Marijuana
  • Kratom

Residential Treatment

Residential

30 to 90 days at our 35-bed campus on Buckeye Road. Length of stay is matched to clinical need, not insurance benefit caps — the typical resident in our 2024 cohort stayed 58 days. Days follow a balanced-recovery rhythm: clinical work in the morning, physical movement and creative therapies in the afternoon, family-systems sessions woven through each week.

A Balanced Day in Residential

  • 7:00 AM — Wake, breakfast, medication round.
  • 8:00 AM — Morning meditation in the labyrinth or fire pit reflection circle.
  • 9:00 AM — Individual therapy or peer mentor pairing check-in.
  • 10:30 AM — Process group: CBT, REBT, or motivational interviewing depending on cohort.
  • 12:00 PM — Lunch in the dining hall — nutritionist-designed meals.
  • 1:30 PM — Physical block: hiking trail, tennis court, greenhouse work, or yoga.
  • 3:00 PM — Creative therapies: music therapy, art studio, or expressive writing.
  • 4:30 PM — Skills lab: relapse prevention, mindfulness-based relapse prevention (MBRP).
  • 6:00 PM — Dinner with peers and visiting alumni mentors.
  • 7:30 PM — Family programming (rotating: spouse track, parent track, adult-child track).
  • 9:00 PM — Reflection, journaling, lights down by 10:30.

Outpatient Program

Outpatient

Partial hospitalization (PHP, 2 to 4 weeks at 5 to 6 hours daily) and intensive outpatient (IOP, 8 to 12 weeks at 9 to 12 hours weekly) let West Valley parents and working adults continue at home, at work, and with their kids while completing care. Morning, afternoon, and evening cohorts run year-round; evening tracks accommodate residents working swing shifts at Avondale schools, Goodyear logistics centers, or the Buckeye industrial corridor.

Dual Diagnosis

Dual diagnosis

For residents whose substance use sits alongside PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, or bipolar conditions — or alongside the psychiatric medication histories that need careful re-evaluation. Treatment is integrated: a single psychiatric and clinical team treats both conditions in parallel, with medication management, trauma-focused CBT, neurofeedback, and motivational interviewing layered into your residential or outpatient pathway.
